Upcoming News and Announcements - 6/5/2026

Fr. Eric McDade will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving here Sunday, June 14th at 11:30am. There will be a reception in the field next to the church after Mass.

Join in the Eucharistic Procession for the Feast of Corpus Christi on Saturday, June 6, 2026, after the 5:00pm Vigil Mass. Contact Joe Osborne at joe.osborne@cox.net if you can help with the procession. Stay for the Barbeque with hot dogs and hamburgers.

The Knights are sponsoring a Blood Drive in St. Joseph’s Hall (location has been moved to accommodate the Parish Yard Sale collection) on June 7, 2026 from 8:30am to 1:00pm.

The second collection this weekend will benefit the Catholic Communications Campaign.

Parish Yard Sale collection begins the afternoon of June 7th with the sale on June 12th through 14th. Do you have some time to spare the week of June 7-14, come help with the Yard Sale. Marian Homes is sponsoring a Shredding Event on June 13, 2026, in the New Church Parking lot from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

SAVE THE DATE: The following events are coming up. Please make note on your calendar and watch for further information in our bulletin, on our website or in future Flocknotes!!
 
Scheduled Monthly Events:
  • All-day Adoration is in the Parish Center Chapel from 7:00am until 7:00pm and on First Friday, all-night Adoration from 7:00pm is available in the church every First Friday with Saturday devotions on the First Saturdays of the month. First Friday is today.
  • Young Adults gather for coffee and breakfast the first Sunday of the month after the 9:30am Mass every month. The Young Adults will be meeting off site for June. See the bulletin for the location.
  • Luminaries of Holy Mary will meet on the first Monday of the month in the Conference Room from 5:00pm to 6:30pm to discuss Fatima and pray the Rosary. 
  • Patricians meet monthly on the first Monday of the month at 7:00pm in Farrell Hall to discuss Catholic topics.
  • Family Adoration is normally offered every third Saturday of the month starting at 10:00am in the new church. No Family Adoration from June through August.
  • Spaghetti Dinner and Pancake Breakfast are usually the second weekend of the month. Have a great dinner after the 5:00pm Mass on Saturday. Pancake Breakfast is served after the 7:30am and 9:30am Masses.  The Knights are taking a Pancake Breakfast and Spaghetti Dinner break for the Summer. They will be back in September.
  • Diapers, Wipes and Formula will be collected during the weekend of the fourth Sunday of the month and donations can be left in the foyer of the Parish Center. 
  • The second collection on the third Sunday of the month is for debt reduction. 
  • Food Pantry donation bags are usually given out the first weekend of the month with the collection through the second Sunday at 1:00pm. Food donation collection is this weekend in the Foyer until 1:00pm on Sunday.
  • Martha’s Table4th Sunday Sandwich Collection will be on the fourth Sunday, only from 1-3 PM.Drop off at the back of Farrell Hall (Door 4). Full details at tinyurl.com/MTSandwiches. 
Upcoming Events:
Movie Night will be held at 6:00pm on June 27th. The Chosen, season 5, Episode 8, the Garden of Gethsemane. Dinner before the show and conversation after!! Bring a friend!
 

Labor Day Picnic is coming up. A successful picnic requires a lot of planning and volunteers. A Planning Meeting has been set up for Thursday, June 18th at 7:00pm in Farrell Hall. Everyone is invited!! Come and bring your ideas!

Vacation Bible School is being held the week of August 3rd through August 7th. More information coming.

Fr. Seh is the Spiritual Director for a walking pilgrimage, The Way of St. James, El Camino from August 22-September 1, 2026.
