Upcoming News and Announcements - 7/10/2026

We have been asked by Bishop Burbidge to take up a special collection next weekend for emergency humanitarian relief for the devastation wrought by the earthquake in Venezuela. Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is working through Caritas Venezuela and the local Catholic Church to deliver emergency shelter, food, safe water, medical care, and other critical relief to those affected. CRS is also accepting direct donations on their website at  https://www.crs.org/donate/venezuela-earthquake.
 
The second collection this weekend is for the Pastoral Solidarity Fund for Africa.
 
Debt reduction second collection will be taken up on the July 26th weekend.
Amigos en Cristo Friends in Christ are having a dinner and silent auction on Saturday, July 11th starting at 6:00pm. See the bulletin for more information.
The next Picnic Meeting is Thursday, July 16th at 7:00pm in Farrell Hall. Bring your ideas and support. Many volunteers are needed for the picnic. (Note the day is Thursday, not Sunday.)

Scheduled Monthly Events:
 
  • All-day Adoration is in the Parish Center Chapel from 7:00am until 7:00pm and on First Friday, all-night Adoration from 7:00pm is available in the church every First Friday with Saturday devotions on the First Saturdays of the month
  • Young Adults gather for coffee and breakfast the first Sunday of the month after the 9:30am Mass every month
  • Luminaries of Holy Mary will meet on the first Monday of the month in the Conference Room from 5:00pm to 6:30pm to discuss Fatima and pray the Rosary. 
  • Patricians meet monthly on the first Monday of the month at 7:00pm in Farrell Hall to discuss Catholic topics
  • Family Adoration is normally offered every third Saturday of the month starting at 10:00am in the new church. No Family Adoration from June through August.
  • Spaghetti Dinner and Pancake Breakfast are usually the second weekend of the month. Have a great dinner after the 5:00pm Mass on Saturday. Pancake Breakfast is served after the 7:30am and 9:30am Masses.  The Knights are taking a Pancake Breakfast and Spaghetti Dinner break for the Summer. They will be back in September.
  • Diapers, Wipes and Formula will be collected during the weekend of the fourth Sunday of the month and donations can be left in the foyer of the Parish Center. 
  • The second collection on the third Sunday of the month is for debt reduction
  • Food Pantry donation bags are usually given out the first weekend of the month with the collection through the second Sunday at 1:00pm. Donations will be accepted this weekend until Sunday at 1:00pm in the Parish Center foyer.
  • Martha’s Table4th Sunday Sandwich Collection will be on the fourth Sunday, only from 1-3 PM.Drop off at the back of Farrell Hall (Door 4). Full details at tinyurl.com/MTSandwiches

  • That Man Is You! – Apostles of the New Springtime starts Saturday, September 19 in Saint Joseph Hall. SATURDAY MORNINGS 7:15 am to 8:30 am. More information coming.
  • VBS 2026 Registration is OPEN and filling up fast.Join us this summer for a fun and faith-filled week at Vacation Bible School:

    August 3–7,  9:00 AM–12:00 PM
  • CAMPERS: Open to children in Pre‑K 4 (potty trained required) through rising 5th grade.
  • TEEN VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: VBS is a great service opportunity for middle school (rising 6–8) and high school teens.
  • ADULT VOLUNTEERS:  College & Young Adults welcomed! Nursery care is available for children over 12 months for parents who volunteer.
